AdvancedBMT uses the leftover stalks from flax and hemp seed crops. Over 1M tonnes of stalk is burned annually in North America. If we expand to use other crop waste, like corn or wheat straw, available supply increases to over 20M tonnes annually. Since we up-cycle material that would otherwise be wasted, it’s a huge win for humanity and the environment.

How it works.

It starts with waste, not mining or drilling.

Traditional plastics are made from fossil fuels and mined materials. Biomaterials are a great alternative. Plants capture co2 and convert it into biomass - traditionally farmers burn leftover biomass from food crops, releasing the captured co2 back into the atmosphere.
